After reading about all these cheaper prices , I nearly booked , until I saw that it was in US$.

I put in my VIFP NO. and ticked the over 55 box.

When I changed to NZ$ the prices doubled . Am I doing something wrong ?

Perhaps you were on the US website. I think others were looking at the Au website.

Just checking Solo Over 55 Rates on Carnival Luminosa in November. First two cruises. Non-VIFP rates. Balcony for Solo over 55 on 6 Nov $889 and a bit less for 13 Nov sailing. Both 7 nights. Interior obstructed which appear to have full length non-opening doors overlooking life boats on Luminosa are good buy at $633 and $55? for older solos (not that 55 years is very Senior). I use a clean website for checking prices but find prices usually identical to Carnival Australia site.

That is what we need, solo deals, under $300 a day.

My solo cruise budget is $250 a night. This is cruise only. And there have been some really great deals the last 6 months. I'll be going on my 5th solo cruise tomorrow since cruising restarted!
