El Faro light house

How far is it to the light house? Is it walkable to get there?

A quick look at Google Maps shows it as about a 1.5 mile walk.

I knew it wasn’t real far. Sometimes a walk isn’t always an easy walk. I was inquiring if it’s sidewalked, safe, etc.

I am pretty sure you will need to take their tram from the side of the ship to the front gate of the port...they don't want you walking in the port, as it is a working port. It was a pretty busy port when we were there in March. Beyond that, I don't know.

Yes it's walkable and there is a sideway (elevated in some parts).  Some might find the walk itself to the lighthouse steep.  But getting there isn't difficult or dangerous.

Many videos on YouTube chronicling the hike to El Faro. No tour needed unless you really want to learn about some local plants and a little history.
