We  were on this  cruise and thoughts  from other  fellow casino prestige cruisers??

The pick  up  service from  hotel  to  port  and again  from pier  to  airport  was so  wonderful and  seamless.

We picked  diamond and  did  the Peggys cove trip.

I did not take this cruise as a Premier, but I thought my impressions might help.  This cruise was only 1/2 full with about 2/3's of the ship crew.  Everywhere was easy to find a chair or no waiting at any restaurant. BUT...the casino was small and smokey on one side.  It was impossible to find a slot machine and table seats were in short supply.  Most payoff play was at the maximum of $4-8 dollars a pull on the slots.

This is a lovely ship that we all enjoyed, and I would love to sail on her again.  The food was delicious, and the ship was spotless.  We felt like the service in some places was lacking due to Princess Plus.  That said, it was easy to go up to the bar and get drinks, cokes, bottled water.  The medallion made this easy.

We all liked the ease of the Medallion, opening doors, getting drinks, getting off and on the ship.

We were on this roll call - Enchanted Princess. A truly lovely ship.

The Princess Live theater is different here than on our previous sailing on the Sky Princess.  No rows of seats like in a theater (the Sky Princess), but more like seating in one of the clubs; tables, booth and chair seating. The glass wall separating the Princess Live from the walk-through area is gone also. Now it is seamless between the PL and the walk-by area.

I did not enjoy the evening menu offerings in the DR as much as I have on previous cruises. Are the menus different from ship to ship, or do they just change the offerings across the fleet from time to time?

Truly and thoroughly enjoyed the Cruise Director staff on this one. I'd repeat the cruise just to be with them!

I took this cruise with my son.  I had the Prestige offer, my son had another casino offer.  He also got the $500 casino money and a free balcony.  We each had our own cabin which was lovely.  We both did the bidding process and upgraded to a Premium Deluxe Balcony.

I also thought the casino was way too crowded.  Smoke doesn't bother me so I didn't really pay attention to that.  I loved the car service.  I thought the opportunities to win free play was too limited so I found that disappointing.  I couldn't do any of the free excursions that were offered so I did a free 75 minute swedish massage.  It was lovely.

We only ate in the MDR once, we decided ahead of time to eat on the Lido, Gigi's, Specialty dining and Room Service.

We toured Fenway in Boston, the other stops we just explored on our own.  My old college roommate lives in Halifax so he gave us a private tour.

The crew was great.  I still haven't gotten my survey so I haven't had a chance to tell Princess that yet.  We did quite a few of the quiz shows, who knew my son was an expert on flags of the world?

Next month I'm doing a VIP cruise so it'll be interesting to see how they differ.
