I found the food to be mostly decent to quite good in the MDRs overall. The service, however, was hideously bad, especially in the Trop. We ate dinner there 3 times and each time it was a VERY long process, which really sucks with 2 kids.

 

We never made reservations and never waited. (1/20-2/1)

Hi, when you say "one of the perks of the Haven" does that mean you are allowed into Syd's before the doors officially open? Does your Butler need to escort into the venue? Thanks for a great review! We are in Haven  Courtyard Penthouse in May.

Yes, one of the Concierge's will take you down. We did it one night for the group doing Fleetwood Mac. We met in the Haven lounge at 6:40 I believe and were taken down shortly after. This was for an 8:00pm show. Was it worth it? I guess.... this group got a lot of hype. My wife and I along with a number of other couples thought they were just OK at best. To be honest I've seen much better cover acts at the New Hope Winery

The service was horrible in the Trop. We ate there we non Haven friends.... it was ridiculous... it took us 2 hours and we left before dessert. We arrived at 5:30pm. Our waiter took our drink, app, and entree orders. Drinks arrived 45 minutes later, Apps at the 75 minute mark and entree at 90 minutes. I never wanted to a restaurant so bad. Food was good, the wait was crazy

The Concierge desk will have a sign posted every day for times to meet there to be taken to different shows. It was always the concierge or the assistant concierge. You will also have a letter in your stateroom listing times and days you can be taken down via the service elevator on port days. It's usually for the first two hours. If you arrive back 1-2 hours before the ship look for one of the concierge's or the butlers. They are normally standing around one of the gangways. They will take you back up. You don't have to go back to deck 16 (On the Getaway). We had a Haven Spa Cabin on deck 14 and they let us off there
