AmaWaterways – Can you pre order Champagne/Wine for your room?

Long time ocean cruiser/first time river cruiser.  Can you preorder a bottle of Bubbly for your room?

We are on AmaSiena 11/24/22.  I have messaged them but just curious.  Thx.

I know not helpful but may give the a push if they don’t - on Scenic you can!

I am not sure if you can get it set up ahead of time, but on AMA you can carry on anything you would like to have, so if going straight to the ship from the airport stop by Duty Free and pick up a nice bottle of Champagne and bring it on with you.  You can carry on anything you want - wine, beer, etc.  They do not confiscate like ocean cruise lines.

Useful advice, @tribbs1 , but too late for @lesliew for whom that cruise is probably a fast fading memory, and it's a shame the opportunity to tell us what was done was missed..

Well I can give you the old answer now and the current one in a week but there has always been a bottle of wine in the room on arrival.  As I dont drink I cant say if its anything of use.

 

Maybe someone getting on a ship today can give us more details (I know my ship for next weekends cruise AMAMagna is starting the first half of the cruise Im joining and there was at least one poster getting on for it).
