Afternoon to Evening

My mom and I are going to be in Aruba in June. We booked a morning tour with the Aloe Factory, Donkey Sanctuary (we are VERY excited to go hug donkeys ok!) and a beach. It's about a 6 hour tour, and we're docked until 10 that night. While we might want to jump back on the ship for a shower, I'm looking for something to do into the evening. Any suggestions for dinner, or is there anything to do around the port area? My mom is older yet fully ambulatory, (sometimes she takes off without everyone because we're moving too slow lol) but I don't want to go too far away. Thanks!

There are a number of nice restaurants along L G Smith Blvd that are near the cruise port.

Aquarius has a nice atomsphere and offers a nice seafood buffet, a bit on the expensive side.

For something different, there's EETCAfe (?) which has more Dutch oriented entrees.

Pinchos has outdoor seating and is great for sunsets.

Other spots in the area include Driftwood, El Gauchos, and LG Smith Steak and Chops.

There's also a Casino in the Renaissance Marketplace just a bit down the street.

Thanks for the recommendations, we are going to Eagle Beach but then wanted to freshen up and go out to dinner. Very helpful suggestions.

Thank you! I'm all about seafood buffets, but I'm interested in the Dutch place. I like different. Appreciate it!

We are planning the same. Out for the day until about 4PM or so, then shower on the ship and tour the port area by walking.
