bren61 Posted November 18, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2022 We have always went to Punta de Vista on the rooftop of Hotel Milano, but sadly see that it is permanently closed. Any recommendations of where to go that has excellent Shrimp Monfongos comparable to Punta de Vista that is walkable from the port?
Rare crewsweeper Posted November 18, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2022 Cafe Manolin is probably the closest, on Calle San Justo. With El Campeon just up the street a block. And if you like garlic, Ajo Del Pais is just around the corner on Calle San Francisco. Up along the street that runs past the forts (Norzagary?) and Calle San Sebastian is Palmas El Rincon and the bar La Verguenza , known for its rum punch, music and views. 2

In your opinion of all the places you listed, which one has the best shrimp monfono or at least the closest in taste to the one at Punta de Vista? BTW, we do love garlic! But we've eaten at Punta de Vista and I'd say Cafe Manolin is slightly better quality but misses the atmosphere and view.
