Great Stirrup Cay - Silver Cove

Greetings cruise enthusiasts!

I understand a reservation for Mandra Spa while visiting Great Stirrup Cay grants access to the Silver Cove amenities (beach, loungers, restaurant). I cannot find if access to the Moet bar is included with that as well, or if you must book a Villa to get access to the Moet bar?

TIA!

While I haven’t tried it myself, I’m assuming that you would be able to access the Moët bar,  It’s a small cabana selling drinks mostly too pricey for the beverage package.  There’s some chairs, I think.  Oh, and a cornhole game.  If your spa treatment doesn’t get you access, you’ve missed very little IMO.  (FYI, the food at the silver cove restaurant was only okay, so don’t let that be your deciding factor either in getting a spa treatment at GSC.)

So many reads yet so little replies...thank you.  We have the PPBP so drinks at Moet bar are "on the house".  Thank you!

YES!!  If you book a treatment at the Spa on GSC you have access to the buffet and bar in Silver cove, some chairs and umbrellas on Silver Cove Beach, the hot tub next to the Spa, the showers in the Spa building and to the MOET bar. You will need to have the upgraded drink package to get the drinks "for free" (lol) or pay the upcharge.

Once you get on to GSC you will see a cabana with Silver Cove written on it, go there to get a wristband for Silver Cove access and they will have someone take you to the Spa in a golf cart.

Oh! and don't tell everybody, it's our little secret .....🤣

I thought the food at the Silver Cove buffet was far better than the buffet on board the Getaway, but it wasn't anything to write home about, and I have no idea how it compared to the food elsewhere on GSC.

I will say, though, that having a villa was fantastic. I know it's a lot of money, and even if you have the Free at Sea Plus, you still only get $50 off because it's a one-passenger booking. We like the quiet, though, so I considered it an investment in our port day because if we'd been on the island in larger crowds, we'd probably have gotten back on board within an hour or two. We had a lagoon villa, which was super quiet and nearly empty. The villas on either side of us were booked, and that was it. The kids played in the water with the kids from the next villa over, and we had the beach mostly to ourselves, since our neighbors weren't rowdy or anything. I would 100% book it again.

Thanks. Still debating if I will bite the bullet on the villa. Appreciate the info!

I had villas booked for two future cruises.  On one, the itinerary changed so that we would only be on GSC until mid-afternoon.  The other was just super expensive.  After thinking about it, I decided that if all we wanted to do was sit in an air conditioned room and enjoy an ocean view, we could just stay on the ship and chill in the OL.  Sure, it would be nice to have a private bathroom and place to change, but not multiple-hundreds of dollars nice.  I would rather leave that money for somebody who needs it more.  I've only been on GSC once and had a fantastic steerage-level time.  Maybe I'll think differently after the next several times.

How did you get the spa appointment?  Do you have to wait until boarding?  We already have a villa booked, but if I can get access to Silver Cove and amenities just by booking the spa, that would certainly be cheaper than renting the villa!

As soon as you get on board, there is usually a table for booking the Mandara Spa. Make your appointment on that first day for a treatment on GSC. Make sure to specify that you want it at the Silver Cove Spa.

Agreed 100% on the AC/bathroom/etc. We are in the Haven on 12/4 sailing out of Miami.  I called and spoke to pre-concierge this afternoon and the only villa available is an Ocean Villa and I was quoted $674.10 with an OBC and Platinum discount.  Not worth that to my wife and I.

Still considering the massage on GSC to have access to Silver Cove area however.

Confirmed if you make a spa appointment for GSC you get access to all Silver Cove amenities.  I will discuss with our concierge upon boarding the ship.
