Staying Covid free until our Christmas cruise

we have been on three cruises outside OZ this year but I am

very nervous reading all the information on CC.

 

We are flying to Perth for 2 days prior to our cruise from Fremantle.

 

but it is coming up for Christmas and we have a few lunches before.

 

I am buying the best Masks and will wear them on the plane and when we

board but the time between now and then has made me nervous.  You really can’t

cancel everything.   We will stay home for the last week,

 

I hope we make it.   Having knowledge can make it difficult.

Good luck!  This is our plan before our trip in January.  Self enforced lock down, masks everywhere and minimal contact with people.

I wore a mask for two weeks before my cruises in August. I wanted to make sure they would let me on the ship.

I will do the same starting tomorrow, ready for my up coming cruises.

You are braver than me. I am sticking with cruises out of my hometown for now.

 

I really don't want to catch covid in a situation where I have to get on a flight to get home. 😷

We have just returned from 6 weeks of travel in Europe, we wore masks whenever we were in public and couldn't socially distance. We have managed to stay covid free, so far by taking the precautions. Do what you need to do.

We are on our fifth cruise post covid return (four different ships). So far all good (touch wood).  We felt more exposed to the possibility of Covid on the flights, rather than the ships. Just take all precautions.

3 weeks till we fly out for our cruise. Have the usual end of school and work related events over the next week and a half that we can't really get out of but will be in self enforced isolation the week leading up to our cruise.
