Royal Princess Balconies

Yes,   The Standard balconies on these Royal Class ships are very small.

But, these ships do not have the tiered design, so those balconies are covered.

 

Which location and type of cabin are you booking?

 

On the newer ships after Regal, you will see some balconies that are Premium larger extended balconies, and I think these are like half covered.

Yes, 9ft x 4ft and covered. Exceptions are the few mid ship angled balconies and the aft facing balconies which are larger and partially covered. You can see these on the deck plans as well as photos of the ship.
