Carnival Sunshine

This is my second cruise. My first cruise was about 10 years ago. Does anyone know if the doors on the Carnival Sunshine are magnetic? I thought about decorating our door. I also thought about getting ducks and hiding them, does anyone else do this?

Yes the doors are magnetic and yes there are ducks all over the Sunshine every cruise...

I 2nd ,that the doors are metal .We put magnets on them when we decorate the door & people still hide the ducks

There were about a million of them on Spirit a few weeks ago.  Our adult children found three of them.  In one night.  Just in the piano bar.

The whole "duck" thing isn't specific to Carnival either; I think every cruise line now has hidden ducks...or at least, the U.S.-homeported ones do.

The doors will hold strong magnets only. I usually print our itinerary on magnetic paper and it didn’t hold. Ducks are brought in and hidden by passengers. Just adds to the fun…
