Anything new in Mazatlan?

It has been almost 7 year since I was last in Mazatlan I believe. Is there anything new to do or see? Last time I was there we followed the blue line to see the mercado and the cathedral. We then went to Stone Island and spent some time at Lety's. Is Lety's still open. Would anyone recommend anything else in Mazatlan or eating anywhere else?

Yes Lety’s still there.  Try El Farro lighthouse the view is incredible. Take a Cab to new Mazatlan and eat at one of the beach restaurants.

An other restaurant in new Mazatlan (not Stone Island. Ships dock in old Mazatlan).  I think it called L Coppola.

What kind of pricing for the restaurants?  Better to pay with American dollars, or exchange funds in advance?

Ceviche, whole fish, lobsters, 2 beers, 1 margarita = $65.  We paid with credit card. Sometimes it is better to pay with pesos on account the vendors set heir own exchange rate or claim they don’t have change.

Yes, Lety's is still there! Our go-to place to hang and eat. We've paid in pesos and in dollars and don't think it makes too much difference. They do take credit cards but one time we were there, the credit card machine was down. We didnt have quite enough cash but they just said, pay us next time ( which we did a year. later!)
