Taxi to and from Atlantis

We’re doing a Carnival Venezia cruise in the fall and although we’ve been cruising we haven’t gotten off in Nassau for years!  I’m cruising with my daughter who’d like to go to the Atlantis casino and shops (which I assume is free…) and was wondering about taking a taxi. I know there are taxis at the pier but how hard is it to get a taxi at Atlantis?  Pity the ship doesn’t do an Atlantis shuttle!

There will be dozens of taxis lined up, begging to take you to Atlantis. There will be taxis outside of Atlantis to take you back.

Atlantis has multiple taxi stands, mostly catering to cruisers returning to the ship. You can get your own or pay less by asking for a group van outside near Marina Village shops.

You can walk around the casino and the marina village, that’s about it.

She wants to stay in the casino for an hour or two.  I figured the shops might be open to us, otherwise, I’ll sit in the casino.
