I am looking at an 11:45 AM departure out of SFO on the day that my cruise disembarks out of San Francisco. Cab trip would be ??? 30-45 minutes?

I think this is a safe time...do you agree?

Yes, that's about how long it will take, depending on traffic; up to 45 minutes, likely less, but could be a bit more.

So you'd need to be in a cab & moving by 9 am, very latest; earlier (8 am) would be better.   It's just so hard to predict traffic in that area, so the sooner you are on the road, the better chance of moving along smoothly.

Best,

Mary

To be really safe I would look at the exact day of the week and the date of the disembarkation.  While it is not likely that your return coincides with an event like Fleet Week it's better to know up front that you need to allow an extra 30 minutes to get out of the City than when you are sitting in slow traffic.

I think if you are on your way by 8:30 that would cover most moderate delays.  The closer you can get to 8:00 the better chance you would mitigate any traffic jams.
