Embarkation Emerald princess in New York City

We are taking a cruise out of New York City in September and we want to pick a hotel near the port. But there is no way to figure out which port or pier the Emerald Princess is taking out from. We don’t know if it’s leaving from Manhattan peers or if it’s leaving from the Brooklyn piers is there a way to find out where  the emerald princess that leaves on September 30 will leave from. Confused cruiser

My best guess but not necessarily totally accurate is to go on the internet and Google Brooklyn Cruise ship terminal and check out your date of sailing.  Also check out the Manhattan Cruise Ship terminal. That should give you some answers.

According to Brooklyn Cruise Guide.com you will be going out of Brooklyn. FWIW well over 90% of Princess cruises out of NYC leave from Brooklyn. The ones that go out of Manhattan are usually Port stops rather than cruises that begin in NY.

Taxi or Uber.  If you are going on a weekend, figure 30-40 minutes and around $40 before tip, using Columbus Circle as a starting point.   25-30 minutes and around the same price if starting from the Upper East Side (70th and Park for example).
