the post complaining about this may have a TA that rebooks the whole thing instead of just adding the package.

Curious, how do you know there is no price increase to your cruise fare?  I only went as far as adding the upgrade, but I didn't go to the "pay" step.  I did that due to that wording that ones fare may increase.. which my TA agreed (she also talked to Princess.)  I admit, if we pull the trigger, I'll likely just wait until we get on board and add it then.
