Hi

When boarding after flying into Bridgetown, do you spend any lenght of time waiting outside for the coach to the port or waiting to get onboard at the port?

Just wondering if we need our sun hats.

Thanks in advance

Normally coaches are already waiting for when the aircraft arrives. Have known to wait once on the coach for the others to fill up. Once at the port you may wait a few minutes for the shed to empty out so you can then proceed to check in if you are not one of the first to arrive.

In February we waited 30 mins on the plane for steps to arrive

5 mins on the tarmac for our coach (lots of coaches were stacked up nearby)

Then we waited 30 mins before the coach left the airport (not sure why but it seemed the policy for all the coaches to do that)

20 ish minute drive to the ship

Once at the ship we walked straight into the building where you check In and go through security and wasn't much of a queue

It took about 10 mins to get through check in and security

So 5 minutes in the sun during that time. Never even thought about needing a sun hat tbh

I would suggest using common sense.

If you have an issue about having your head uncovered in the sun then I would certainly have a roll up sun hat in my hand luggage - just in case, otherwise as others have said you probably do not need to have one with you.

Thanks for the advice. I'll stick to the Pith
