Next cruise benefits

What are the benefits for booking next cruise while onboard?  Wondering if we should book next years cruise now or wait until we are onboard in August.

I booked a future cruise when I was on the Divina in October. They only benefit I could see was they gave me an extra $25 onboard credit. The prices on the website were exactly the same as I got by booking onboard otherwise. If you see a price or promotion, that looks good to you, I would probably go ahead and book it rather than waiting.

I was told there is a new benefit unlimited changes up to 90 days out.

Just got off 4 days ago.

If you book YC. It's $200 obc.

Balcony $100

OV if applicable $50

Inside $25

Is the OBC on the cruise booked or on the cruise you are currently on?

My Daughter actually booked an October cruise and the current promo was $200 obc but since she was onboard, she received an extra bonus of $200 to be available to use when she boards in October, so she will have $400 to spend in October
