On Board Credit

I don't think we'll get value out of the drinks package, so I was wondering if I can buy on-board credit before my trip?  I'd like to know I won't be facing a bill when I'm disembarking.

It looks like you can buy gift cards, which should function like onboard credit. It's not nearly as easy as on some other lines - it looks like you have to phone to make the purchase. I purchased OBC before sailing HAL last spring, and it was incredibly easy to purchase online. I've never done the process with Cunard.

In the past I've put some money on to the credit card that I'll be using so the final bill isn't so big.

Whatever you do, you'll still need to register a credit card.

Check the exchange rate when buying OBC, there may be a premium.
