Credit card onboard in Civi

Wasn’t sure how to title this but my question is when embarking in Europe will the credit card we have on file for ship charges incur an international fee or are charged in US $?

Everything on the ship is charged in USD, so will your credit card be charged with no foreign fees. BTW you should find and take a CC that doesn't charge any transaction or exchange fees. That is the only type of CC we use anymore because we do so much international traveling.

Thanks Terry!  We’re using a credit card w/no transaction/exchange fees.  Hubs asked me the question out of curiosity and I had a hmmm I’m not sure moment.   Used to cruising in the Caribbean, never a Mediterranean.

Onboard currency is USD no matter where Celebrity sails. That includes all outlets AND THE CASINO.

 

There is no (non-USD) foreign currency in use except if you exchange it at guest relations at their cut throat rates.
