trurocruiser Posted May 20, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2023 My husband and I are going on the Escape in December for Christmas and my birthday. We are Platinum and booked in a Club Balcony. When can we start booking our dining? I thought it was 125 days out, but the app says 120. Is this because it isn’t paid off yet? thank you. Rare CaptainBazz Posted May 20, 2023 #2 Share Posted May 20, 2023 It's 125 days out. I think 120 is for lower tier levels.

Rare KeithJenner Posted May 20, 2023 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2023 Dining reservations have nothing to do with payment dates. The app just says the date 120 days out for everyone, regardless of status and cabin. Then 125 or 130 days out they will be available to book. tomk3212 Posted May 21, 2023 #6 Share Posted May 21, 2023 A little idiosyncrasy we noticed in the app was that the # of people dining in the reservation almost always defaults to 4 people and not 2. Couldn't get the app to allow a reservation for just 2 people. Weird. In any event I just made all our specialty dinner reservations for 4 people & then changed it to 2 people as soon as we got aboard.

It is because you did not book soon enough and the 2-tops are sold out. People are booking exactly on days 130/125/120 at 12:00 am.
tomk3212 Posted May 21, 2023 #8 Share Posted May 21, 2023 @BirdTravels Hmmmmm…sounds logical & makes sense BUT howcum I was able to make the switch from 4 to 2 persons w/no difficulty whatsoever? I would think if they were “sold out” of tables-for-two they’d have given me a harder time making the switch. Ok I am Sapphire but still…

Because not all available reservations are opened to pre-book. Only about 30% are available to book, with the rest opening on embarkation day.
