Zacapa Old Fashion currently?

Do some of the ships still have Zacapa at WCB? Equinox still had it in April.  If not, what are they using instead ?

No Zacapa this year on Beyond or Eclipse. They are substituting Brugel Anejo or Bacardi 8, neither of which come close

The cocktail,  Zacapa Old Fashion was still amazing with whatever they were substituting (enjoyed it on the May 3rd Solstice sailing).

 

Anyone have the recipe?

Or the recipe for the Highlander?

Can someone currently (or recently) on the Beyond confirm there is no Zacapa at the WCB?

I agree.  The Beyond version wasn't as good as the one on the Reflection.

Got off the Eclipse 5/28 and they did get Zacapa for the WCB in Ketchikan, so we had it the last couple of nights!

Wow! They haven’t had it since Dec. i wonder if they will keep it stocked.

Here are the ingredients but I have the Brugal version.   I don't know how different in ingredients the Zacapa one is:

2 oz. Rum

1/2 oz. simple syrup  on the Reflection (they were making their own)

2 dashes of angostura

2 dashes of chocolate mole

 

shaved chocolate on top.

I hope they get some Zacapa for my September Beyond sailing.  😩
