Harvest Caye- cooler?

Hello! Are you allowed to take a small soft sided cooler off the ship with you?  Was thinking of packing small snacks and waters to take off the ship.

I've never seen them check bags going off the ship. But you probably won't be allowed bottles coming back on.

thank you!  really just wanted to take a few snacks and the packaged water that we purchased.

We buy high quality refillable water bottles. They're much sturdier, and many are insulated. They come in handy on the ship too. Last one I bought was Iron Flask, but I've bought Owala as well.

Yes, we have done it several times. You need to empty it before you go back onto the ship. Never had it checked getting off of the ship.

I would note the following admonishment in the Freestyle Daily for Harvest Caye. A cooler is a bit more obvious than a few sealed,

Pre-packages snacks at the bottom of your beach bag.
