NCL Joy Extended Balcony Cabin

Has anyone recently cruised on the Joy in an extended balcony cabin on Deck 8 forward?  Does the balcony have lounge chairs similar to the Breakaway or Escape?

The color is different but there are loungers there. If they aren't there, just ask your room steward for 1 or 2...or 3. There's plenty of room.

Yes, there is plenty of room . Very much like our M6 cabins on other ships. 

 

We had two loungers, two chairs, and a large table.

We are booked in a Joy M6 Deck 8 forward in August; I will report back on the setup.  Here is a video of 8730 showing 2 loungers, 2 chairs and a table:

Thank you all.  We have a fair amount of time before our Joy cruise and I've seen other photos and videos showing only 2 chairs and a table on the extended balcony.

Do the M6 balconies have any cover? I'd love to have a balcony that size but I need shade.

This is a screengrab from a Joy video; the extended balconies on Deck 8 are not fully covered.  Shade is dependent on the sun and ship's orientation 🙂

Part of the balcony above provides some cover when on the deck 8 balcony. The majority of it is uncovered, though.
