I check Celebrity’s site for pricing and if price has dropped contact my TA to rebook at lower pricing.

Smart move if you don’t spend money on the ship. Depending on what you would use the obc for, their cost is peanuts. What we would use it for is domestic beer and at the price charged on the ship, that would get us 20 beers. We stocked up with the July 4 sale, and 20 beers cost would be $12 total, including tax.

Appears to be for Mexico, Caribbean and South America, on "select sailings" through 4/24.  I looked at my February Beyond cruise - no thanks it's 11,000 more (no kidding).  On my January Caribbean I'd give up 450 OBC to save 300.00

Very good point.  I went back and edited my post to add a screenshot that had some of the fine print.

 

I wonder what shore excursion is being shown in the ad photo.....
