This was great information. One quick question:

When getting dropped off, any video I have watched shows you stopping in front of the main entrance that would be on your right.. Do you pass the main entrance and then get dropped off in front of the YC tent [which would be to your left] or walk from the main entrance to the blue tent to drop off your luggage?

we'll arrive walking by from our Hotel, do we have to drop our luggage also by the tent?

 

It's our first Cruise outside Europe (12th Cruise with MSC YC), we're excited if it's different in America....

Our limo driver drove past the main entrance on the right and dropped us off right at the YC tent.  Porter immediately took our luggage.  I stressed about it unnecessarily because it was all very easy!

I’m probably worrying unnecessarily, but am going to ask anyway.

 

My parents will have a car service to the Brooklyn Terminal & are in the Yacht Club.

I’m looking at the picture provided & wonder if the car service stops at the YC tent to leave the luggage & then takes my parents to the entrance, or they have to walk to the terminal.

I’m just worried that from the tent to the terminal it seems a bit far for her. I just don’t know the procedure or how close to the terminal car services are allowed to get.

All the driver has to do is pass everyone like he is leaving and can drop you off right by the YC tent. The port staff may yell to get going but they let you unload! From the tent, they do not escort you to the terminal but it is a quick cross of the street and you are there. Easy peasy.

Last cruise in November the tent was is the closest bus stall to the ship in the middle row. Our Uber just pulled up to the bus stall next to it around 11a there was only one bus in the row. YMMV
