Celebrity: Onboard Credit

When you have spent all your non refundable credit, on shore excursions or spa services or wherever then they start to dip into your refundable credit, and when that’s all used up the rest will be paid on your credit card or settled in cash on the last day.  You can’t designate on-board credit money for specific uses because they just use it in order as the cruise progresses.

Will any requests pre-cruise through Shore Side Concierge be deducted from OBC or will I have to pay with CC when placing the order eg requests for specific beverages.

Thanks.

Noticed from list above that casino is an option. How do you set some OBC aside for casino use?

You can't except if the Casino is your first spend on board it will, by default, come off your OBC.

To give a specific example: we pre pay our tips so on day 1 X has nothing to charge to our account. Say our OBC was for $150 if we went to the casino and bought $150 of roulette chips the OBC would be wiped out. Alternatively we could charge the $150 to our Slot Machine Account.

On the ship, you go to the casino and play.  How you play depends on both what you're playing and which ship - I don't mean to be flippant about it, but you don't "set it aside", you just use it on the ship.
