Whiskey House on the Solstice. Is this new?

I've updated my X app today and have noticed a bar I've not heard of before, The Whiskey House, on deck 15 near the hot glass show.  Is this new or have I just missed this in the past?

It has never been open when we were on that ship.  Door locked, lights off.

I can't find any mention of The Whiskey House on the X website and the Solstice deck plan shows this space as The Lawn Club Shop.  It's only on the App that it's shown as The Whiskey House.  Interesting.

Hmmmmm. Have not heard of that before. Can we trade it for a Gin House? 🤷🏻‍♀️  Great to see some new options.

Assuming it’s the same as Equinox…

 

It was closed almost the entire cruise. It’s where they held the Johnny Walker tasting on one of the last evenings. Which is unfortunate as Johnny Walker is a whiskey without the “e”…

 

I believe I’ve seen Jack Daniels events there in the past. Great potential space badly underused!

Unlike other bars, there are no opening times listed on the App, so I'm guessing it may well be the same as your experience on Equinox.  Shame.  I got excited for a minute, thinking there was finally something being added to the X offering rather than being diminished.  Oh well.

I remember that on an S Ship. We were invited up for a Johnny Walker tasting one night by the suite manager. It turned into a sales pitch by the gift shop. I really wanted to leave but I couldn’t get up because of where I was seated. They were only open for events like that if I recall.
