Lecture times?

We’re cruising on Silversea (Dawn) for the first time in the Mediterranean in Spring 2024. We’re normally on Seabourn or Hapag-Lloyd where dining is pretty flexible. As it looks like we need to book dinner reservations in advance on Silversea, I’d be really grateful if anyone could indicate please what time port talks and/or lectures take place? We’d really like to attend these and book dinner times so they don’t clash. Thanks in advance.

If you are in port, talks/lectures are typically scheduled for late in the afternoon (4pm - 5pm) to allow those who are on excursions enough time to return back to the ship to attend.  They normally do not last for more than an hour.  If you are at sea, the lectures will take place either in the morning or afternoon.

Hi, I have never had a problem without reservations for dinner. I may book 1 or 2 nights ahead of time but I would say all the other nights I go without reserving anything.
