Hi all.  If you can only do one, which would you do and why?  Will be on Odyssey of the Seas at Falmouth.  Also, would it be practical to hit Scotchies for lunch since it's going in the other direction?  Any suggestions for tour operators?  Thanks for any input.

Dunns River is basically one big falls you climb up.  Blue hole is more of a hike uphill, then work your way down a smaller river playing in the water and jumping into pools as you go.   That's a general idea of each, you might want to look for some youtube videos to get a better idea of each.  Both are unique and nice in their own way.

It's been a few years, I'd guess maybe 1/4 mile.  But you can stop and head down playing in river and pools anytime you want if it's too much.

I assume one of the pools in the river is the actual "blue hole", but really what it amounts to is you climb up along the river, then head back down jumping in pools, sliding down, etc.

Hey Jackadapt, I am currently in dialog with Oneil Jamaica Excursions about a blue hole and river tubing excursion. what I have found out is that Dunn's river falls is more like a climb while blue hole is more swimming, jumping and it also has a rope swim. I picked the blue hole because my family is all about the most exhilarating experience. Also picked Oneil Jamaica Excursions because I heard he give an informative tour about the island on the way to and from the pick up point.

Here's his contact email if you want more information oneiltours@gmail.com
