Excursion Check-in Question

Hi, I'll be traveling on the Getaway next month with a large group and we'll be taking some of the NCL excursions.  Do we need to check in together for bus-specific stickers or are you assigned to specific bus when loading?

You meet as a group to collect the stickers, and they make sure they give you enough to fit you in the same bus. This is before, usually, you leave the ship so you already know which bus you're heading for by the time you get off. 

 

But if you're a really large group, it would be best to speak to the excursions desk in advance to see if they'd like just one person to go down ahead of the general call.

it depends on the excursion. 

 

i have been on excursion where it says meet in the theather where they gave you bus specific stickers and i have other excursions that said meet on pier/somewhere on land where they gave you the bus stickers

Last month on the Getaway, the tickets indicated the meeting place and time (Theatre, MDR, Illusionarium...)  Once at the meeting place, they will ask that one person from your group hold all the tickets and check-in for the bus # stickers for the whole group.  That way they ensure everyone is on the same bus.  Pretty simple.  The trickiest part is if you have someone in your group that is running late and you don't have their ticket...saw that happen to a few disorganized (hungover?) passenger groups😆
