sheltielover1973 Posted September 7, 2023 #1 Share Posted September 7, 2023 Anyone have experience with boarding when the ship stays in port that first night? Basically my flight from Paris lands in Bologna on the Oct 12th at 5:15pm then it’s an hour drive to the port in Ravenna (the ship leaves Ravenna the afternoon of the 13th) Csn I still board that night of the 12th? The last boarding time on the app was like 4:30 I believe .. I’d call Celebrity but don’t have time to wait during their insane hold times and hoping someone here would know Aimee
gfkcruiser Posted September 8, 2023 #2 Share Posted September 8, 2023 Is your sailing open for checkin? If so, see what the latest checkin time is.

emmas gran Posted September 8, 2023 #4 Share Posted September 8, 2023 So you may not board till 7.30 - 8 pm which means you will probably have to do muster the following morning. As for dinner on the first night who knows

As for dinner on the first night who knows I checked and they have muster drills that next day as well ... I just wanted to make sure they'd actually let us on that late... seeing the ship doesnt depart until the next night.

jwlane Posted September 8, 2023 #8 Share Posted September 8, 2023 The personnel that do check-in are typically contracted, not Celebrity/ship employees. One would not expect those positions to be staffed beyond normal business/check-in hours. You need to contact Celebrity.
