sandancer Posted September 14, 2023 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2023 We have transferred a cruise from January to March within the P&O terms and conditions. Now we find a very important family event has been arranged which we can’t miss during the new cruise. We are prepared to lose the deposit but wondered if anyone has been able to move a cruise a second time by paying an admin fee. This really was Murphy’s law. Rules say you can only transfer once, so unlikely I should think. Could always ask though. We transferred a cruise in the summer and had previously transferred that when on Aurora, so could not transfer again, but as the new deposit required (when we did the transfer on Aurora) was only £50pp, we got a refund of the extra deposit we paid initially, which of course we did not get on our first transfer. Not sure we should have got that partial refund mind - suspect it was a mistake on behalf of P&O........ Rare Presto2 Posted September 16, 2023 #3 Share Posted September 16, 2023 We were unable to move our cruise on Ventura booked for May 2024 as we had moved it once before so cancelled it and lost the deposit. We had wanted to move it to a more expensive cruise, but it didn't make any difference.
sandancer Posted September 16, 2023 Author #4 Share Posted September 16, 2023 I think we will have to do the same. The proposed event is something we can’t miss. Still, it’s only the deposit so it could be worse. If we’d been given less notice we could have been really out of pocket.
