Question about wifi pricing - loyalty discount/pre-cruise vs onboard

Hello.  It is my first time sailing with MSC.  I have status match, which provides 10% off on wifi.  Is this discount reflected in the pre-sailing price on the app?  Is it cheaper to book it in advance vs onboard (after sailing to avoid tax)?

10% discount is applied if you purchase onboard.

Is the onboard price higher than the advanced purchase?  I am not seeing it stated on the app that the price is discounted at all.

The onboard price is higher.  They advertise the preboard price as "save up to 85%" from buying the package on board.  Thinking about that amount, I may be wrong in my memory of the percent, but it was definitely a significant savings.

So what is the process for YC to upgrade from Browse to Browse & Stream pre-cruise or can it only be done onboard?  Do I have to do it for all devices (we get two each) or can I do it for only one or two? I  am not sure that the Browse option will meet my Internet needs.

I am confirming that what you said is correct.  I don’t have the numbers in front of me now, but when I had done the math when I first boarded, it was cheaper to buy in advance than on board with the 10% discount.
