Beach close to the Cruise Port

We will be coming to St. Maarten on an NCL cruise on November 30th.  We are looking for a beach not too distant from the cruise port that also has amenities available, such as food and beach chairs.  Great Bay Beach appears close on the map, but I am uncertain how busy it is.  We would like something on the quiet side, but with food and other amenities.  Any recommendations?  Much thanx.

You can take the water taxi from the cruise piers to Great Bay, Then walk along the boardwalk and find a spot.  Suggest Miguel's. Some folks have qualms about swimming in Great Bay given the traffic and possible sewage runoff. But for chairs, umbrellas and food and drink, lots of options.

You can also walk there from the ship, about 20 minutes.  You can see the whole stretch before you leave the ship, to get an idea where you'd like to go.  Most likely, the further along you go, the quieter it will be.  We've gone there many times, and never felt that it was unclean.

Great Bay will be very busy, as it’s walkable, cheapest taxi and ferry fares.
Further a long the coast is Little Divi, being quieter.

But, one’s personal selection for an exclusive quiet beach, comfortable chairs, great food/drinks and service, it is COCO on Orient Beach.  Book one’s day/lunch in dance.

We were just there. We booked big bastards before hand. Got right off the Venezia (only ship in port that day) and caught the first water taxi. There was a total of 4 of us on it! 🤣 big bastards was sold out, we had reserved front row. Drinks and food were great, service impeccable. Highly recommend, but getting chairs anywhere along there wouldn’t be a problem unless more ships in port. Beach vendors are relentless, and that probably had to do with so few people that day. Beach was nice, calm.
