We were on this same itinerary in February...and I just recently tossed the Patters! Sorry! Were you looking for something in particular? Perhaps I can help in that manner.

Oh, man!  Just what they offered on Sea Days....

Most sea days on Princess are very predictable. Bingo, trivia, various game shows, destination lectures for upcoming ports, cooking demonstrations, art auction, and of course there's always the casino! (I'm sure I'm forgetting others...perhaps someone else will chime in...)

Jeannie- thinking of doing this partial and since u mentioned you did in this past Feb.

having trouble getting info on going thru locks.

did u go thru new locks for a little bit on the ship?

then did u do excursion in Colon that night?
we have never cruised princess or panama canal but have cruised on many other lines.
we are middle aged couple

This is Rick...

We did a "partial" transit passing through the new locks.  Once in Gatun Lake we transferred to a smaller boat and continued on to the Pacific side using the "old" locks.  We then boarded a bus and returned to Cristobal where the ship had relocated and was waiting to meet back up with us.  We really liked this excursion...but be prepared for a *long* day.  We passed through the new locks at roughly sunrise and met the ship in Cristobal after dark.
