Useless Trivia About the Cabin Art!

I have been intrigued by photos of the digital prints in the cabins as I was certain that they were by an artist that I have always enjoyed. I was at the opening of Art Toronto today and the gallery owner confirmed that Explora commissioned two pieces by English Printmaker Phil Shaw. The prints of the book titles are meant to be read in sequence starting at the top left.

 

The print pictured was selling at $6660 USD.

It’s a lot better than the framed wallpaper on most lines and a nod to their attention to design detail.

I also like how the suites have real books on the bookshelves.
