i confess i have done that with flights before. We got “upgraded” to exit row honey!

I see it alot in my Disney planning groups...  "Honey, we got free dining!"  "Honey, I booked All Stars Sports like we agreed but they upgraded us to Beach Club for free because I said it was our anniversary!"

And here I thought I was being slick when I came up with the "free upgrade" excuse. Haha

Yes bottled water is included.  FYI You can order one alcoholic AND one non-alcoholic drink (a can of soda/coffee/water/Etc.) at the same time, but you can NOT order a non-alcoholic drink and a bottle of water or two cans of soda at the same time.

I didn't know this! Excellent tip! Question -  tipping in cash is what is appropriate here and USD is okay?

Gratuity is included, so tipping is not necessary. But yes, you are welcome to tip and you can do so either by adding the amount to the receipt you sign or handing over cash. Up to you!

Gratuities are included in the "free" drinks while playing in the casino?

Yes - the casino pays the gratuity. You are welcome to tip above and beyond if you wish!

The casino adds a small amount to the pool when they give the DOU/DOUE offers and your server does get a portion of that pool.  Only if you give a tip (cash/sign& sign) will that server get this amount directly.

See this is the issue I have when people CLAIM they don't gamble alot and get totally free cruise offer while only spending $200 in the casino. People misremember or flat out aren't honest about the amount they spend on the casino.

The casino gave me drinks on us when I somehow reached 900 points, playing with $200 at the tables. I played $20 at the slot machines and earned 10 points.

I also got a casino offer after our trip. Both were unexpected surprises. We've never received anything for playing on the other cruise lines.

Points at the tables aren't the same points as on the slots is my understanding.

I've found that by adding a $1or $2 per drink tip, I get better service (YMMV) so I always bring some extra $1s for tipping the bar server/bartender.

I try to give a dollar bill with each drink.  It goes a long way with the casino bartenders....especially when there is a line and they see you waiting.  Your drink appears quickly. LOL
