Cruise next expiration

So we have a cruise next cert that I think was to expire in 2025, when I logged in to check the expiration it now says 2099. I called and they said it was extended. Anyone know why or if I should even believe this?

See second page of posts, response to Smitheroos query "You have future cruise credit" suggests that there is no longer an expiry date

Thanks for the replies. Wondering why, from a business standpoint they would do that, not that I’m complaining. Seems that they would want the deadline to motivate people to book!

Anyone know about Cruise First coupons.   In my account the spot that had expiration dates is now empty but the term page still says expires within 3 years.

I believe that the expiration dates were also giving people motivation not to buy the cruise next certificates.  If they can be used or sold forever, than folks will be more likely to stock up.  Also, some people got burned by them during Covid, so there's that.
