Transportation to the Port of Miami

We will be arriving in Miami one day before we sail and staying at the Marriott Biscayne Bay. What is the best way to get to get from the airport to the hotel and to the port from the hotel. I understand that the hotel does not have transportation to the port or from the airport. The last time we cruised we used carnival transportation to ge to the port becasue we few in the same day. With the airline delays and cancellations we did'nt want to take the chance of not being able to get to the port in time. Also how do you put money on your sail and sign card we have always done that at the airport. Any suggetions would be appreciated.

"Best" is a stretch limo with a stocked bar!  But for the approximate 10-minute ride from your hotel to POM, a taxi or Uber/Lyft, as suggested by Ashland is probably the better option.  If there are no cabs waiting the front desk can call one for you  - they know who is reliable. Cab fare should be about $10-15+tip

Usually you can use the app or website for your cruise line that will allow you to do this.
