I just weighed my bag.  It is right at the limit 🙂  I have no idea how I put a suit and shoes in there before...

My DH prefers loafers or drivers for evening wear.  Best to rotate the shoes you wear.

Have to say I cannot remember checking out a person's shoes unless it was watching someone try to walk in really high heels.  More put off by folks wearing hats at the dinner table in MDR.

One of my sons is a podiatrist.  Have worked in his office and saw many cases of fungus.  He advises his patients to change socks daily, keep feet dry and rotate shoes.  So it is also for your health- not just a fashion statement.
