Car service from jfk recommendations?

So thanks to all who responded to my other thread about train vs plane. I took the flight option as I got round trip flights for $123. Flying into jfk returning from EWR. I'll be taking the cruise line transfers at the end of the cruise but does anyone have a recommendation for a car service from JFK to midtown Manhattan? So many to choose from on Google. I could take a taxi but want to keep my options open

Dial7 and Carmel are the two major black car dispatchers-- both of them are nearly identical and pull from the same pool of drivers. UberBlack will be similar to Dial7 and Carmel-- just dispatched from the app. Blacklane will be a higher quality car than either of the three above but will be more expensive.

Taxis from JFK to Manhattan have a flat rate, that is unique to JFK, which gives them a bit of an advantage as the lower cost private car option.

Yeah, I was thinking that too. I have plenty of time to decide.

Compare the ship's transfer price with a taxi or uber or car service alternative.  Those buses are easy but rarely price competitive
