I thought I would hate Coco Cay but I loved it. Not everything costs extra. There are plenty of free lounge chairs on the beach under umbrellas. There are free food venues with good food. There are free beverages (water, iced tea, lemonade). There are pools and splash pads for the kids that don't cost anything.

Yes, there are plenty of opportunities to spend money if you want to. But you don't need to spend a dime to have a good time.

This^^^^^

You might also want to check the port schedule and see what other ship may or may not be in port with you.  An Oasis class ship makes it very crowded...

but not too bad. It still felt less crowded than Princess Cays with just one ship (twice now). First time - Harmony and Indy, second time - Oasis and I think Navigator.

Just skip the first part of the Chill Island to your immediate left and the more sports and youth oriented part of the South beach.

Would someone who doesn’t like heat, sun, salt water, beach, sand, or outdoors enjoy Coco Cay? Is there anything else to do other than staying at the beach? I remember not liking DCL Castaway Cay

Do you like pools? There is a free pool and a pool you pay to access.
