Thermal spa and drinks

I’ve never booked the thermal spa and am considering it for my next cruise.

 

Question: are drinks allowed in that area ?  I’m guessing they are not, but thought this would be the place to get a definitive answer.

What types of drinks? Water 💧 is absolutely acceptable and a "cooling station" with water is provided. I have seen people bring in their own water bottles. There is nothing posted indicating drinks are not allowed.

This is the cooling station on K'dam from my visit last week.

It’s the Nieuw Amsterdam and I am referring to adult beverages.

I go to the pool bar before entering the spa and get a glass of wine from there because it is in a plastic glass...  Park myself on a lounger and read my book and enjoy my wine.  I have done this on Holland and NCL and never had a problem.

I think you are supposed to de-tox in there......and drink the cucumber water....LOL....but drinking wine while on the warm lounges sounds much more fun....or a glass of wine while in the hydro pool....oh my.

Don't want to open a can of worms but I have taken my can of beer into the hydro pool and put it on the edge of the pool after drinking it with no problem-this was on Eurodam and NS.

Again, nothing posted saying drink are not allowed. I would imagine so long as you wisely don't take glass in the pool area, you'd be fine.

Alcohol is practically a universal solvent and should work very well as a detoxicant.  😉
