B2B Folio Question

Does HAL close out the folio after the first cruise and start a new one for the second?  IIRC, both Princess and Celebrity roll the folios over.

We will be sailing on Eurodam 3/6/24 to 3/27/24.

Thank you --

If they are on the same booking number they will roll over.  If they are 2 different booking numbers your TA can combine them and then check with guest services when on board.  We have done many back to back cruises and they always roll over through the end of the cruise.

They are 2 different booking numbers, booked directly with HAL and the reservationist said she linked them.

BTW, we are originally from Anderson, IN -- been down here since 1999.

If that is the case you will be good.  If you have on board credit on the second cruise it will not show up on your account until the second cruise starts.

We had a B2B with 2 booking numbers last year. Very carefully used up the Stockholders OBC before the end of the first cruise (it wasn't hard!) -- completed second cruise.

Have looked a couple times at the new invoices available in the Mariners' History on the website and couldn't figure out why the later cruise didn't have it available. Checked last night and sure enough, those days are appended to the first cruise's. Our PCC had linked the two and I didn't realize what that meant!

After cruising MANY B2B cruises on HAL I can conclusively say the answer depends on the ship, finance department, tide, weather and if you have led a charmed life. In other words don’t count on it. Sometimes they carry the folio forward and sometimes not even if you specifically requested it and were assured it would be done it might not be done. And once a cruise is closed out you will lose any unused nonrefundable credit regardless of what they told you.

Also depends on how long each cruise is. New credit card rules require the account to be paid about every 30 days. So on long cruises, if you owe a balance it is charged to your CC then. If you have a credit it carries over. The front desk can tell you the exact days.
