Nieuw Amsterdam Gym Showers?

Sorry if this has been asked before but I searched and I couldn’t find a clear answer.  On the deck plans, it shows that there are bathrooms near the gyms but are there showers there as well?  Or do we need to purchase the spa pass to gain access to the showers?

I’m looking to book a Signature suite for my sons and myself so being able to use the shower at the gym would be a plus.

To answer your question directly :). As far as I know, none of the gyms have a shower.  As you pointed out, the thermal spa does, but that requires the thermal spa payment.

 

Each ship DOES have a free dry sauna that is very close to the gym…it’s not advertised and not clearly marked.  They DO have a shower. 

 

If you wish, I can pull up the floor plan for that ship .:).

My experience on HAL ships.......There is a bathroom near the gym and the thermal suites that has lockers and showers....and has no fee/surcharge.

That washroom is located BETWEEN the gym and the thermal spa room where the hot beds are. It is never locked and accesible to everyone: bathroom, lockers and showers.

I have been on the Eurodam which is the sister ship of the Neauw Amsterdam.  I purchase the thermal pass and use the showers that are adjacent to the gym.  One time I was on in a signature Suite with my sister and dad.  When my sister and I would go to the Thermal Suite my dad would use the Whirlpool in the cabin.

 

I get why going to the gym to shower is an extra plus.
