What do I need to provide to show HAL that I am a retired teacher?

I showed them a copy of my retirement benefits estimate from the state.

If we're both educators, can we each get an OBC or will we get just one OBC for the stateroom?

One per stateroom.

Confirmed as well with our TA.  Thank you! @POA1

Happy to help. Most of the "community appreciation" OBCs are done on a per stateroom basis. Some of them stack, allowing you to use more than one - but you can't use the same one for two people in the room.

I think that the best combo is a military veteran, who is a first responder - traveling with an educator who is a University of Washington alum with season tickets to one of the Huskies sports teams. Oh, yeah... One of the people needs to have 100+ shares of Carnival stock.

Also, they shouldn't be big gamblers, because casino offers aren't compatible with some of the community OBC offers.

So, if you are in the dating pool, now you know to look for. 😁

We're also getting the AARP OBC.  Well, at least I hope so, I applied for it AFTER booking, so they may not do it.  But at least we're getting the educator discount, which was done at booking.
