I am looking at booking a cruise for Jan. 2025.  My friend might come but may also not be able to.  Just wondering if it is better to book solo and then add her later or book for 2 and drop her later if she isn't able to make it?  Thanks.

Book for the both of you. There’s always that possibility you can’t add her later.

My vote would also be to book for 2.  I’d probably leave the second guest as TBD until it’s confirmed she can go.  You can always add her name or a different person later, or if no one goes, just have it be a no-show.
