Izumi Hibachi question

My family of 5 is booked on Wonder for March 17.Izumi Hibachi currently shows completely sold out on the website. Is it worth trying to get reservations as soon as we get on the ship or are we out of luck?

I  certainly would stop by and see. People will be cancelling and moving dates when they board plus UDP will be booking their meals. I'd head there first. Someone will be there to ask.

You can check on boarding day, though the odds five seats will be available at a single Tempenaki table are low.

Sometimes people cancel later in the cruise, so keep watching.  For example, a family dining with us said they picked up last minute cancellations.  It was a 5:15 seating on a port day.

We were on 01.28.24 sailing. We were able to book our family of 6 upon boarding. You will need to go straight to Hibachi to book. Everything else can be booked a the specialty dining kiosk or at Hibachi while you are there.
