CARNIVAL SUITES VS. PRINCESS MINI-SUITES

Recommended Posts

For those who have cruised on both Carnival and Princess, can you tell me what the difference is between the Princess Mini Suite and Carnival's Suites?  Does Carnival have an equivalent accomodation to the Princess Mini Suite?

Generally, Princess Mini Suites are more like an extended balcony that includes a couch. Princess standard balcony cabins (on most ships, possibly not on the newer ones) do not have a couch. I believe all Carnival balcony cabins have a couch.

Carnival's entry level Ocean Suite is larger than a Princess mini.  They are quite nice, actually.  As stated above, the mini's are more like an extended balcony and they also have a tub and 2 TVs.  We like both.  If you are looking at an Ocean Suite on Excel class, then they are very similar to Princess, except they are narrower and have a shower instead.
